Business Foundation for Education

The Business Foundation for Education (BFE) is a recognized leader in lifelong learning and career guidance in Bulgaria. Its national initiatives have huge impact on citizens:
• Since 2005 BFE has established a network of 37 university career centers, trained and certified over 1000 career counselors under the Global Career Development Facilitator program.
• BFE launched the National internship platforms in the state administration and introduced internship methodology in the Bulgarian universities and private organizations.
• Its Career Club flagship initiative has been adopted by the Ministry of Education as a model for career guidance in Bulgarian schools.
• BFE experts are involved in the development of the Ranking System of Bulgarian Higher Education, qualification of university professors and pedagogical advisors; capacity building for lifelong learning initiatives and career guidance in the Ministry of Education, National Employment Agency and National Revenue Agency.
• BFE initiated the national contest for career guidance practices and implemented study on career motivation of Bulgarian students (2007), on young people’s employability skills (2010) and on cooperation models between business and HEI in Bulgaria (2013).
So far the Business Foundation for Education has implemented more than 30 European projects directed to personal and career development, social inclusion, employability and entrepreneurship, innovative teaching and learning.

D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics

D. A. Tsenov Academy of Economics is a leading economics and business higher education institution in Bulgaria with 80 years of history, 140 000 alumni and a well-established reputation in education, science and project management. It is composed of 4 faculties, 19 departments, an Institute for Scientific Research, 17 academic centres and auxiliary units (incl. The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is a Greek Organization committed to the promotion of innovation and the enhancing of the spirit of entrepreneurship.
By recognizing entrepreneurship as a crucial factor for the development and cohesion of societies, we develop research and are in a position to provide innovative solutions that facilitate the growth of healthy entrepreneurship and promote employment. In order to achieve our goal, we adopt an anthropocentric approach and cooperate with social, academic and business partners from Greece and abroad, aiming at producing and transferring know how, promoting entrepreneurial culture and enhancing the effectiveness and viability of enterprises.

University of Lodz

The University of Lodz consist of 12 faculties provide programmes in 90 fields of study, 165 specialisations and 90 postgraduate programmes and host around 37,000 students. The interest in studying at the University of Lodz is determined not only by high quality of teaching, but also by modern programs of study offered in Polish, English and French, and adapted to the changing demands of the labour market. The University treats international cooperation as a way to foster its development and continue the city’s tradition. The University is repeatedly ranked among the top higher education institutions in Poland, and it especially excels in such fields of study as management, law, and economics. The Faculty of Management University of Łódź is one of the largest business school in Central Europe offering wide range of courses on bachelor, master, doctoral level and MBA studies (currently over 5000 students take part in all forms of education). University Titu Maiorescu

University Titu Maiorescu (UTM) is a top private university in Romania constantly developing since its founding in 1990. UTM has around 500 faculty staff and over 8000 students (Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Degree) within its departments: Psychology, Economical Sciences, Law, IT, Social Sciences, Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy.

Career guidance has been the focus of 7 projects (total budget aprox. 6.500.000 Euro), reaching over 11.000 students, developing needs analysis reports, counseling methodologies and managing project teams of up to 50 members/project. There are 2 resource centers meant to support entrepreneurship within the university. Career development is well represented through the Career Counseling Center and social entrepreneurship is one of the career paths explored through the activities in the centers.
